Guest Speaker: Matt Golinski
Matt Golinski is a highly respected Sunshine Coast chef known for his passion for fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. A familiar face from the original Ready Steady Cook series, Matt has led some of Queensland’s top restaurant kitchens and built a strong reputation as a chef, writer and food ambassador.
In 2011, Matt lost his wife Rachel and three of his daughters when his home was engulfed by fire. Golinski also suffered severe burns.
Today, Matt works as a consulting chef, a regular guest at food festivals and events, and a contributor to popular food columns and his own blog. He is an active member of the Slow Food movement and a dedicated advocate for regional producers.
Driven by creativity and community, Matt continues to champion the best of Queensland’s food culture.
